Betting shop punters in the UK and Ireland can now keep a closer eye on their horse with SIS’s latest on-screen innovation, ‘a silks position graphic’. This offers punters a graphic of the first three race leaders, represented by their silks.

As a race is being shown on LBO channels, SIS FACTS or SIS+, the numbers and silks of the leading three horses appear at the bottom of the screen. As positions change throughout the race, so do the graphics.

Exclusive SIS graphics are being used for all UK and Irish races and Brent Dolan, Commercial Director, SIS, said: “Sometimes it’s hard to see the numbers on the saddlecloths, or identify your horse’s silks on the television, so these graphics really help, particularly if it’s a close race or if you are watching without sound.

“SIS is always looking at ways to improve our programme and this innovation will certainly help punters to better enjoy their racing.”
